**DONORS AND SPONSORS**

Camp Millhouse is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity. We are not a United Way agency and we do not receive government funding. The generosity of our donors and sponsors make it possible for our campers to have a safe, traditional camp experience that accommodates their unique individual needs.  Would you like to learn more about how you can help provide that experience? Please call the office for more information 574-233-2202.

We want to thank all of our donors and sponsors and ask that you help us do that by supporting their businesses.

Check out our Capital CAMPaign page for Individual Donors and Sponsors!

                                    Camp Millhouse Golf Outing

On Friday, May 18, 2018 we gathered with friends at Blackthorn Golf Course in South Bend, IN for our Second Annual Camp Millhouse Golf Outing. The weather was much better than our first year and everyone had a great time! We hope you'll join us next  year for the 3rd Annual Camp Millhouse Golf Outing on Friday, May 17th. Be sure to mark it on your calendar!

A big thank you to our main sponsor St.Clair Apparel and especially to Matt St.Clair for all the hard work that went into planning this incredible new event for Camp Millhouse.
We want to pay special mention to our sponsors for this event:

**ORGANIZATIONAL GRANTS**
Camp Millhouse has been very blessed, over the past year and a half, with significant grants that have allowed us to make wonderful new improvements and provide equipment and supplies to help our campers have amazing experiences here at Millhouse. We want to thank these foundations and organizations for their support.

Just as camp started in June, we received a visit from The Pokagon Fund's Interim Executive Director, John Krsul. He came by to present us with a $20,000 grant for our "Healthy Camp = Happy Camp" grant request.  There are many things that folks take for granted that we simply do not have here at camp to help us with every day tasks.  We had cabins and program areas that were without a mop and mop bucket! We only have brooms in the cabins to keep the floors clean. Sometimes, a broom just won't do it when 20-25 people are walking in and out mulitple times a day. This grant allowed us to purchase a mop bucket and new mops (with extra mop heads) for every cabin and program area). In addition, we were able to purchase enough 6 gallon shop vacs for each cabin and program area as well. However, the biggest change to come out of this gift is a new dish washer/sanitizer, a new commercial washer and 2-stack dryer and a new ice machine!! We were able to get four brand new pieces of vital equipment for camp!! We've been down to one washer for over a year and we've never owned two dryers. Our dish machine and ice maker were both on their last leg.  We are forever grateful for the ongoing support we receive from our friends at The Pokagon Fund.

The AWS Foundation in Fort Wayne, IN awarded Camp Millhouse a grant to fund the ropes course trail paving, make improvements to a couple course elements, cover the cost of inspection and staff training for the course for 2018 and purchase a "sway fun glider" to be placed in the playground.  In addition to this grant, we also received a Mighty Money grant thanks to an IUSB student who also happens to be a Camp Millhouse staff member, Elijah Breden. Eli completed the grant process as a class project and was awarded his grant to help fund program supplies like basketballs, canvases, pony beads, and fabric dye.
THE JOHN, ANNA, AND MARTHA JANE FIELDS MEMORIAL TRUST FOUNDATION
The Fields Foundation awarded Camp Millhouse a grant that was used to purchase new chairs for our music and arts & crafts room. In addition, it covered the cost of new musical instruments, wheelchair art supplies, program director salary, and three therapy rocking and bouncy chairs.
The Riley Children's Foundation
The Riley Children's Foundation awarded a grant to cover the cost of our fall, winter, spring 2018/2019 Millhouse Mingles. We'll be meeting campers and their families at local hot spots to enjoy some fun and conversation. This is an important part of keeping connected with our campers during our off season.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation awarded a grant to cover the cost of a pool lift!  The pool lift was installed in August 2018 and will be a huge help in getting individuals in and out of our large, heated pool. We were so excited for this addition to our aquatics program.
Guynn Foundation
The Guynn Family Foundation generously donated to help cover the costs of the ropes course trail paving.

We Would Love to Have You Visit Soon!
