Camp runs from mid June to the end of July. Camp sessions are one week long, beginning Sunday afternoon and usually ending Friday afternoon (exceptions are Kids' week & the 18 & Up week that includes July 4th). The majority of our weeks are differentiated by age group. During these weeks we accept people with a range of needs, from people who are very independent to people who require one-on-one care. Staff-to-camper ratios during a typical camp week range from 1:1 to 1:4. Sports week is a session of sports programming specifically for independent campers (no 1:1 staffing available) who enjoy playing or observing sports.
Our campers range in age from 7 to 75 plus. Campers' diagnoses also vary. Unfortunately, we can not support campers with trachs or vents. There may also be camper behaviors that we will not be able to support in the camp setting. If you'd like to talk about the needs of your camper, we can certainly help you determine what might be the best week for them to attend. Before we register new campers, they are required to attend an in-person visit/tour with the directors to talk about their needs with daily living skills and behavior management. We can also have that talk via Zoom if travel distance is an issue. Please call the office to schedule the visit or Zoom call ASAP. We are ready to help! 574-233-2202 or [email protected]
