What is a Counselor In Training? This is for young adults, 14 years of age and older. You will spend a week at camp volunteering your time working with paid staff to provide care to our campers.

At the end of the week, your cabin staff will evaluate you. If your evaluation is good and you enjoyed your experience, we would welcome you to volunteer again during the summer.

Starting as a C.I.T is a great way to gain experience and knowledge before applying for a paid staff position when you reach the the age of 16.

Camp Millhouse would like you to know that we are always looking for people to help with our committees on fundraisers. We have the following fund- raisers:

• Annual Dinner/Silent Auction
• Pancake Breakfast
• Strawberry Festival
• Halloween Party

If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact our office. As a committee member, you do not have the commitment of being on the Board Of Directors. However, it is a great way to help and bring your creative ideas along!

Every April we open camp with a community clean-up to help get camp ready for the summer! Come prepared to get dirty!

In October we have a community close-down day which usually involves raking, putting away benches, equipment and many other things for the winter.

We are always in need of handy people to help us fix and repair items at camp. There is always a list in the kitchen of repairs that are needed. Just stop in with your tools and we will put you to work!!
